My name is Felix De Geyter, I was the General
Manager and Parts Manager for the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Company during the
building of the Cord 8/10 Sportsman. Since I’ve retired, I’ve been helping Glenn Pray put the history of the Cord 8/10, the Auburn 866 & the Auburn 874 together. So far we have multiple albums of newsclippings, magazine articles, photos and other information. |
| We would like to
include in the history a current list of owners. We have an orginal list
from 1966, and a list from 1982. We would like to update our files. So far
we’ve located 20 of the current owners. If you still own your Cord 8/10 or
know who bought it, or know of someone who has one of the cars, please send
the information so we can update the file. We are trying to have a complete
history file on each car. Anything you can send would be appreciated. As I proceed with this project, we hope to have a web site that will help you locate parts, and information on the Cord 8/10. We hope to produce a newsletter from time to time. Any help or information that you can send us would be appreciated. CORDially yours, Felix De Geyter |
